Photography is very much political, everything about photography is political. Every time you look at a photograph you judge it you analysis it you find imbedded issues even if they are not there. When looking a a portrait you instantly analysis and judge the person e.g. if they are look skuffy with worn clothes you assume they are poor.
In this photo you will automatically assume that she is an attractive rich young girl. This makes it political because we are comparing her to other people. Basically almost every photo of a person can be political because we are comparing them to other people.
